Closed Alpha Testing Dates Announced

Nau Engine closed Alpha test starts on Nov 1st, 2023 with 200 devs from at least 20 game studios-partakers. First evangelists are BERYOSKI («Partisans 1941»), Siberia Nova (Smuta), and an AI solutions provider, Nanosemantics Lab. Since June 2023, total count of requests for engine testing surpassed 12 000 and continues to grow. 

 

"Nau Engine is designed to be functional, and the key focus is to make game development as easy and clear as possible for the end user. We are compiling a knowledge base that by itself explains how to make the best use of engine's features." - said Alexander Myasishchev, CEO @ Nau Engine.

 

Nau team presented the engine's roadmap up untill the end of 2025, including start of Alpha testing (2023), Open Beta Test (second half of 2024), and 1.0 Release version at the end of 2025. Nau Engine is an open-sourse, free-to-use software suitable for developers of any level, and can be used for creating PC, console, mobile and web games and applications. 

 

Nau Engine's easy-to-use Editor is set to allow plugging in any programming language of choice. Engine's documentation and knowledge base will be available at the designated Nau Engine Portal. Subsequently, Nau Engine will accomodate features for game publishing and operating proccesses, including bug-tracking, analytics, distribution platforms SDKs, flexible CI/CD pipelines, etc.

 

Nau Engine team partners with educational and science institutions, starting with ITMO University which will become a testing ground for incorporating the engine into educational environment. By partnering with the leading Universities, Nau Engine will become a foundation for future game development educational programms. At first, Nau Engine will be included in the curriculum as an R&D tool, followed by a full-fledged text book, devoted to the use of the engine, right after Open Beta.
