Moscow, Russia. - 13 September 2023. - Over the course of three months, from June to September, the team behind the new free Nau Engine received more than 8,000 applications from game studios, aspiring developers and IT professionals interested in participating in testing. Some of them will have the opportunity to take part in the closed beta test at the end of 2023.

More than 70% of those who applied are involved in game development, either as a full-time or part-time job. Programmers and game designers have shown particular interest in Nau Engine, accounting for over 75% of applicants. MMORPGs, RPGs, racing games, shooters and sandbox games were among the most popular genres for development.

"The engine is being created as a reliable, free tool for developers based on open source code, so a crucial part of our work on Nau Engine is engaging with the community and gathering feedback from future users. In the early stages, we will be limiting the pool of testers in order to thoroughly process the feedback we receive and focus on the most important requests.
